Terms for your solar report

The service
My Solar Buddy provides an automated planning estimate based on the information and third party data available at the time. The report is intended to help you compare options and prepare for installer discussions. It is not engineering, structural, electrical, financial or tax advice.
Estimates and assumptions
Results depend on the accuracy of your address, electricity use and preferences, as well as satellite data, tariff data and modelling assumptions. Actual production, savings, system cost and payback may differ. A qualified installer must inspect the property and confirm the final design.
Payment and delivery
The price shown at checkout is charged once through Yoco. After successful payment, the report is unlocked and linked to the email address supplied. You are responsible for entering a valid email address and keeping your account password secure.
Problems with a report
If a technical problem prevents delivery or the report cannot be generated from the supplied information, contact us at hello@mysolarbuddy.co.za.
Acceptable use
You may use your report for personal planning and installer comparisons. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful material or resell the service without written permission.
