My Solar Buddy is a South African solar planning service. We help homeowners understand likely system size, battery needs, electricity savings and payback before requesting installer quotes.
What the report combines
The report combines satellite roof information, estimated solar production, your electricity consumption, current tariff data and your backup preferences. It presents the assumptions and expected financial outcome in one report you can keep and compare with installer proposals.
How we keep savings realistic
Solar savings are based on variable per kWh electricity charges that a solar system can offset. Fixed service and demand charges remain payable and are not counted as solar savings. Future values remain projections because tariffs, usage, weather and equipment performance can change.
Independent planning, not a final design
My Solar Buddy is not a substitute for an electrical or structural assessment. A qualified installer must verify roof condition, electrical compliance, equipment selection and the final installation design.
